I really had a hard time falling asleep last night. I kept waking up. When I had to get up at 930 am, I really wanted to stay in bed.
Wine4girl said to start moving for ten minutes every hour I'm awake. I really think that that is a wonderful idea. I did it from 11 am til 7 pm today. I had a church meeting (bible study) at 7 pm and just got home (10 pm). I filled up with gasoline for 1.229 per litre ... yesterday it was 1.299! I saved $5 waiting for one day!
Angela has a dog (Oliver) and a husband (Richard). She is remodeling her house. She needs knee surgery possibly, her mother in law had her surgery cancelled for some reason, and her mother requires a hysterectomy. I haven't visited her in a long time. She's been sending me photos of what she has done in the past two weeks. She's going on a cruise in ten days with other friends and her husband. I hope she enjoys herself and time with her husband alone.
I told the other church members that her mother-in-law didn't get the surgery. So at least I have that one covered.
The one with the six cats is my sister (Mary Anne) and my mother lives with her.
The bible study tonight was on the debate between Bill Nye the science guy and Ken Ham (Genesis CEO). It was interesting to listen to part of the debate. Atheism vs Christianity. Everyone's views are different and may see things different than another, but I still believe that homosapiens were not evolved from apes as some people would assume. It was an interesting topic between about a dozen of us. All Christians. It was a discussion with different views believing much of the same things. I think I will continue to go to Monday evening bible study.
I read a blog this morning that had me do some thinking as well. It was a decorated jar with the weight I start with to my final "goal" weight. Every time I lose a pound or two, I put something in the jar. I think I'll put in loonies or toonies or quarters. Every pound lost, I'll put in one. So by the time I'm finished, I should have close to $75 or more. Maybe I'll use loonies. Canada isn't giving out pennies any longer.
It is snowing outside, and it wasn't supposed to. I love how pretty the snow looks like diamonds against the sun or moon's shine. It really isn't all that cold outside. NO BLIZZARD YET THOUGH!
My vegetable and flower seedlings are starting to pop up with only the first set of leaves. But that's ok. I started them earlier than I should have.
I had my meeting with my counsellor today. I was drained when I was talking with her - but got up and watered my plants, fed the fish, and talked to the seedlings. I see her in two weeks. She asked me how I did these past two weeks, I told her that I was really low but am fine now. I told her that I just "came" out of it. She said that that is normal. Is it really?
Still trying to read a book - can't get into one. Not even a short story. But I'm trying. I can listen to the Minister's sermon for 20 minutes and actually recall some of it. I think I'm doing great.
I have informed a lot of people about Sparkpeople, and actually have some people trying it out. I think Angela would benefit from using this website, but she knows more than I do. And she is going through a wellness weightloss clinic that costs a pretty penny! More expensive than Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig or Curves or Herbal Magic. I'll stick to Sparkpeople! I love the articles and the information I receive on here, and of course the friendships I am making on here.
May God & Christ bless each and every one of us! Amen.
