First Day of Keto

What an interesting diet. I spent the day finding the fattiest things I could to eat. Not going to lie, I'm not complaining. I ate delicious caprese salad soaked in olive oil, and feta stuffed jalapeno peppers, vegetarian chicken scallopini, and cucumber juice. It was a good day and very tasty. I'm not looking forward to the keto flu though. I don't know when that kicks in but it will probably be soon. I wanted to go to the gym today in case I didn't feel good tomorrow but we had to do a lot of running around.
My partner really wants to try this diet with me. I think the prospect of eating cheese, meat, butter, and eggs (he is definitely not vegetarian) is what is drawing him in. He picked up a good bunch of seafood and meat today in preparation. He has some bread and things to finish before he starts though. I hope this works. We've tried so many other things and eventually you start to wonder if you're just not meant to lose weight.
