Freedom for the girls

Monday, February 10, 2014

Sunday, I let the Spice Girls out of their 1000sf+ run and out in the back-back yard. Separated by a fence from the "regular" back yard so the dogs can't get to them.
They had a ball digging in the leaves and eating all kinds of things. I was working in the garden and they came over and checked out what I was doing before wandering to another part of the yard. Can't wait till the weekdays are longer and I can let them out after I get home from work.
They were hilarious when I got some of there scratch (think candy) and shook it to get them to come back. They all came running! Was too easy to get them all back in the safe confines of their run. I'll do a video of that next time!

I enjoyed this video blog so much! It reminded me of visiting a friend's farm (who had cows and chickens) when I was about 10 years old and feeding the chickens. Got to hold one, too, which was a big thrill! And it also made me long for sunshine and green grass, as we are still in the deep freeze here in upstate NY! Nice video, thanks for sharing!

Glad your girls can get a chance to roam free. Mine use to until a fox started picking them off!

I love how the ones that were last out looked like they were trying to figure out how on earth the more adventures girls got where they were! Fun!
