I felt you in my legs before I even met you.

I've been working out so much to Tegan and Sara recently, I cannot get enough!

My workout began when I woke up at 7 am today. I had to have my coffee of course before I could scoot scoot to the gym.

I had organic whole(all-the)grains cereal with almond milk. (Cow milk's hot sister, basically)

Woo! I did it, y'all!

Morning workouts are really great.... It's hard for me to do them consistently without my accountabilibuddy but I made it this AM! It makes a lot of sense for your body to work out in the morning--to boost your metabolism, especially.

I've read that eating a healthy meal and exercising within the first hour or so of your day makes a big difference. The difference being that this energy fuels your body to burn calories consistently throughout the day.

Is that right?

xoxo,
Lee

P.S. I'm forever shamelessly selfie-ing, thanks to the timercam application for the iphone. It feels like I have something "to show" for myself. Turns out it's hard to look good while running.

UNLESS THIS IS YOU

    @arrreagles thank you!!

I am a dance teacher, so I actually use my tri's a LOT for ballet. (Along with hamstrings, core etc). Thank you for the encouragement and I'll keep in mind those different combinations of muscular workouts. I definitely want all the advice I can get!

    Great workout and good for you!

I did this Tri a bunch of years ago, and found that there was this recommendation when you switch from bike to running to run on your toes for the first minute or so to really stretch out your calf (which can get tight from biking) -- good thing you did the stretching after, it really helps, I'm sure.

One other thing (and I hope I don't sound like I'm critiquing your workout, because it looks amazeballs) -- I've heard that using opposing muscles with weights is good -- so after Bi's, also do Tri's, and when you do chest, do back, and when you do quads, do hammy's etc. -- sort of like, making sure you balance the muscles across your body. (although, with all the workouts and such, you're likely getting it anyway, and you're definitely killing it, and it's looking great, so keep it up!!!)
