That Darn Cat

Monday, February 10, 2014

Okay, maybe those weren't my exact words. Last night Tony the Cat stole my fitbit. When I took a shower yesterday, I plugged my fitbit into the charger. When I got out of the shower, the charger was plugged in but there was no fitbit to be found. At least not in the bathroom. I noticed Tony sticking his paw under the door to a room we keep closed. Not really unusual behavior for him but his insistence made me curious. Sure enough, on the other side of the door was my fitbit. It now has a few teeth marks in it but seems otherwise unscathed. Tony is too -- unscathed, no teeth marks. I guess I'll be finding a new place to charge my fitbit!!

Too funny. Tony just wants to be your exercise buddy. This made me smile. I have a tortie who insists she go on walks with the dog because no way is he more special than she is. After all, she was our first pet. So whenever the dog goes out Missy is waiting at the door too and follows us down the sidewalk and back to the house when Dickens is done. Gotta love cats. emoticon emoticon

They certainly keep up entertained to say the least. Mine like to drop pom poms and swat them before they hit the floor.

I remembered the movie with Hayley Mills when I read the title of this blog. Good thing cats are so darn lovable, that we overlook their "faults" and rearrange our lives to accomodate them! I miss having a feline friend. emoticon

ROFL.....I can see it now, you, on a ladder, plugging the charger into one of those lightbulb outlets on the ceiling of the basement....giggle.

Maybe Tony just wanted to log some steps!
