Underlying Motivation

Sunday, February 09, 2014

My underlying motivation for eating healthier & losing weight is so I don't end up like my mother. She was over weight & smoked, which resulted in many health problems. I already do not smoke, but I am over weight, don't have the greatest diet, & have trouble breathing due to my asthma. I don't want to do to my future children what has happened to me. At the age of 26, I just lost my mother, who was 66. I need to be healthy to be a strong wife, a future mother, & a counselor/minister. I have a long, productive life ahead of me that I need to be healthy for & being 80 lbs. overweight is not going to get me there.
