Exercise DVDs - I need more?

Sunday, February 09, 2014

My friend Amy text me tonight to ask me if I had any workout DVDs that she could borrow for her daughter because her daughter wants to loose weight. Now her daughter is 18 years old and is on different medications for ADD or ADHD and some other things. Some of the medicines put weight on her.

Well when I received the message I chuckled to myself thinking yeah I have a few. Well I found some near my TV and then I went into my son's room because I knew I had packed a bunch of movie DVDs and other things away for when I do move. Well here is a list of the 'few' workout DVDs I have:

SP Cardio Blast
SP Fit, Firm & Fired Up
Beach Pilates
Special K 10 Minute Solution
Super Callanetics
Callanetics Evolution
SP Total Body Sculpting
Hip Hop Abs
Hip Hop Abs Level 2
10 minute solution Dance it off & Tone it up
10 minute solution Fat Blasting Latin Dance Mix
10 minute solution kickbox bootcamp
The Biggest Loser Power Sculpt
Dancing with the Stars cardio dance
Pilates the Workout Circle
Winsor Pilates 20 minute workout
The Biggest Loser the Workout
The Biggest Loser Boot Camp
SP 28 Day Bootcamp
The Biggest Loser Cardio Max
Zumba Exhilarate DVD set

Those are all the DVDs I have. I also have some VHS tapes too. I have 23 different exercise DVDs so i have no excuse to not have something to do. Plus I have the Wii Fit and Xbox Kinect. Once I see what DVDs she is going to take I will be doing these at home or at least the ones I can do.

So do you have any DVDs that I would possibly enjoy?

I don't have a lot of them. I have a Windsor Pilates dvd, 1 old school yoga, a 4 disc sweating to the oldies Richard Simmons (lol) and my favorite is a VHS of Tae Bo which I can't do anymore because it hurts my knees. Wish I lived closer, I would use you like the library! Who needs a gym membership? just kidding!

I like Himalaya's Bollywood workout, but you don't need the dvds for that now--both workouts are now available in the sparks video library. I also really enjoy Tae Bo.

I love any of the Leslie Sansone Walking DVD's - especially the ones with the "weighted balls" but any will do in a pinch.
