My husband and I have made plans to go on a mini vacation to Jamaica in June and I am really feeling pressure to lose weight before then. he more I think about it, the more depressed I become. I am an emotional eater or what I would call an excuse eater. Tomorrow is the day I am supposed to start back again and I feel like I have to start off strong. I believe if I start off strong and push myself I can keep it up. emoticon

    I just went on vacation to Mexico. Travelers are of all kinds of sizes. I saw women, big women wearing bikinis with their bellies hanging over the top. Seriously. You're going to look fine. Relax. Jamaica is all about relaxing.

    Don't feel pressured and stressed! Look at it as a delightful opportunity to motivate yourself. If you are nervous about being in a swim suit, join a water aerobics class or do zumba. You will feel better taking positive steps toward your goal. emoticon

    p.s. I have my own mini vacation at the end of May, it is hiking lodge to lodge along a river trail. And it is GREAT motivation for increasing my hiking distance and pace
