Starting tracking my food with SparkPeople again. Put app on my iPhone ($4.00) and can scan food barcodes! Was able to also share that app on the iPad that my employer has issued me via ICloud, without paying to install the app again.
Hoping a little OCD tracking will keep me on track and give me a feeling of being in control. My goal is to lose 53 lbs, to get down to 140. I'll be flexible though, and if I like the way I feel and look when I'm more than 140, that's OK too.
I did a lot of Zumba in the past year. I'm slowing down with that now as my work schedule (2 hrs of commuting/week-day) is interfering in my sleep and workout schedule.
I might join the gym soon so I can go there with my hubby.
My weight ballooned up to 214 lbs spring 2012. I was finishing the MATESOL Certificate then, and was as always working several language/education related jobs.
A lot has happened in the last few years. Some difficult times, and some achievements. I got my MA in French spring 2010.
My husband graduated with his AS degree in RN Nursing spring 2013. I started a new, (and finally full-time with benefits!) teaching job Jan 6th, 2014.
I'm hoping with the regularity of my new job, I can organize my eating and start losing weight regularly.
