I have not been faithfully on SP for a loooong time. Not for any specific reason. Since January 2013 I have lost about 12 pounds or so. I was down 15 pounds at one point and even won the weight loss challenge at work ($200!) which was amazing. But lately junk food is where I am headed unsure why...It could be that my boyfriend only buys junk food when I repeatedly tell him I am DIETING or COUNTING CALORIES. He doesn't think calorie counting works and I know it does for me as it has in the past. Anyway, I know that I have none if any will power and if junk food is around I will most likely eat it. We were doing good for awhile, no ice cream in house, no chips, no candy but lately that has changed. I bought some fruit a couple days ago so that I can eat that instead of junk food when I am hungry.

Today I want to be held accountable. Friday and Saturday were very bad days for me with food and today is Sunday. A new day, I have a plan to eat good. Eat healthy. Workout out twice...
I wish I could instill it in my head that if I eat horribly then I NEED TO WORKOUT! But I was so tired yesterday after eating so much for breakfast, I didn't eat lunch had small dinner and lots of chocolate oops...and took a nap...

But is a NEW DAY and I intend to eat better, eat healthier and workout at least once today if not more.

    I used to do the same thing. My son can eat anything and it doesn't affect him. Unfortunately, it DOES affect me. Because I'm lazy and hate to exercise, the weight kept piling on till I'm now diabetic.

Your boyfriend may not think calories count but let him know that if he really cares about you, he'll want to do want is best for you. You don't want to become diabetic, too.

    Every day is a new one. Stay focused and take it one day at a time ... and have a chat with the boyriend. If he' sabotaging your diet with junk food, maybe it's because he doesn't really want you to lose weight. Let him know why it's important to you.
