Thanks for letting for letting me vent

Sunday, February 09, 2014

Thanks for letting me vent yesterday. Since losing my mom in October 2006, any type of memory of her makes me sad. While I was writing my entry yesterday, I cried. It felt great to cry.

I heard dad's alarm clock go off half an hour ago but he hasn't gotten up yet. Hope that he does. Its in the single digits in the temperature that I don't want to walk in it again like last week.

Got a question for you crocheters out there. I'm going to be making a bridal garter and the ones that I've found have a stitch that I don't know how to do. The treble. Does anyone have a pattern for a bridal garter or their own pattern that might work. I'm working on my own patterns but haven't tried them yet. Let me know if you know where there is one or have a pattern. Thanks.

This is the most awesome place to vent. We are here to support one another in so many big and small ways. I know your garter will be beautiful. Much success to you.

A trebel stitch is just a double crochet with one more wrap on it. So you wrap your yarn twice and draw your thread or yarn through two loops three times instead of twice.
Have fun!
And it's ok to vent. That's what we're here for.
