Username change

Sunday, February 09, 2014

It's still me:)
The username thing is something I wanted to change for awhile. When I registered for Spark all those years ago and was asked for a username, I picked the easiest thing I could remember. CGG111 was my college email address (

Now that things have changed so much since college that I wanted something to reflect where I am now:) Working at the Y has really opened my eyes to the whole fitness/healthy eating world. I have some pretty good ideas and tons of information and for the most part, people listen to what I have to say. I actually had a member say "You're good at this!" Not bad for a part time gig and being mostly self-taught. This is what happens when I am truly interested in something. I learn as much as I can ( never stop) and get good at it:)

I cannot wait to see where I am another 6 months from now. Yes, I am learning patience and not expecting things to happen over night. It's just not possible. I know that when I have more time to devote to the things I love, I get fantastic results. Timing really is everything.

I have learned a lot in a very short amount of time and cannot wait to see what the future brings.

Anyone else change their username at all on Spark or another social media site? If you did, why? If not, why?

SO thankful for time to rest and reflect today! My body is sore in a good way from many miles on the bike this week!
Looking forward to running this AM, gotta shake the legs out, cooking a new recipe, and getting ready for the week:)

I got my schedule changed at school and now I am actually teaching 95% of the day! It is awesome and I love it! It turns out I am still good at that too:)

409.40 miles for the year!

I haven't changed my Username because using a variation of my Real Name makes it easier for my Non Spark Friends and Family to find my page --- AND, It is easy to remember, LOL!!
I was tempted to change it after Rachael Ray called me Teeny Jeannie, and if I ever DID change it, it would definitely reflect something about my Healthy Lifestyle/Journey --- Much like yours does ... That Name Is AWESOME!!!

This new name definitely is in sync with how you come across in writing. Good going!

Love, love your new name! Yes, I have changed my Spark name once. I started with SusyInKC (Susy in Kansas City). Once we moved from there, I thought it was a good opportunity to give myself a more motivating name. However, I'm not as "in like" with it as I originally was---therefore, at some point in time, I may change it again. Again, great selection on the name change!!!
