Loom Knitting Group

Friday, February 07, 2014

I started a loom-knitting group on here because there seems to be some snobbery towards it in the "regular" knitting/crochet groups. I wanted a place to talk about loom knitting with other people who are on the same journey to health and wellness.

Well, it seems we're either an apathetic bunch, or maybe we just have too much going on in our lives. Hardly anyone is posting anything, only one person other than myself has posted a picture of their work. I even posted a message asking what people want from the group so I can better tailor it to our needs (I've never run a group before), and two people answered me. Two.

Seriously wondering if I should continue with it.

Also wondering if it's getting to me today because I feel down today. Don't know why, just feeling a little blue. Oh well, tomorrow is my Friday. Just gotta push through it.

I'm just starting out with loom knitting and I hadn't a clue there was a group! I'll give it a look - you might have THREE! (Which is more than two - little steps?)

I'm not a crafty person, but I know you are and so I'd say, even if there are only 2 others besides yourself, it gives all of you someone to chat with about what you enjoy! In time, I'm sure your group will grow! Don't worry about the others as maybe they do have a lot going on in their lives. I used to cross stitch, but only a little here and there b/c I just didn't have time to do much at a time! Maybe that's all it is. Hang in there, gf! Enjoy the members you have! Y'all have a common pastime!
Sorry you are feeling blue today. Smile and breathe and count your blessings. Maybe that will help you feel a bit better. (((HUGS)))
