I fall into this trap A LOT. I want to be better than the next person, lose more weight than another but I simply cannot force things to be the way I want. I've got to accept that I didn't get the part (whatever it may be) and that I don't weigh a certain number anymore (but am working on it!). Keeping those feelings at bay is extremely hard, but is vital to my sanity.
Accept things you can't change, embrace your differences. Although my body doesn't drop weight simply because I did a 30 minute workout, it DOES tone much quicker. I may not get every part I want, but the parts that I do get are GOOD ones.
Comparing myself to someone who is TOTALLY different from me is ridiculous and not worth my time.
I MUST REMEMBER THIS.
