Friday morning

Friday, February 07, 2014

It's a unique experience to find myself face down in my neighbors' driveways every Friday morning. No, no, not what you think. That's when my front-page column comes out.

Lovin the article, would love to try the food, but don't think Erik would be able to wait in line that long. His patience is more than what his daddy had, but his legs wouldn't hold him up for long w/o complaints.
You keep at it Suzy, I think you found what you want to be when you grow up.

    Loved it!!

It's really interesting to me to see how your paper differs from ours. You can certainly tell what is important in an area of the country from what is on the front page. Your paper is a lot more fun than our paper which saves the front page for who is on trial for what murder and the latest fight among the city council/county board/Illinois congress/Governor Quinn. LOL. It would seem more likely that we would be the ones to have a chicken on the front page but instead we have a boring picture of a backhoe digging up a broken water line. LOL. None of the staff writers has their picture on their articles any more. In order to get your picture on the front page you have to kill or sexually molest someone. Benny's brother made it for felony hit and run. Your paper might be something our paper should emulate. They might sell more papers - put the interesting and fun stuff on the front page and bury the bad news in the back. I always save the front page of our paper for later when I don't mind an upset stomach and go for the good stuff in the back. Of course, we may be light on interesting and fun stuff here compared to your area. You have tons of pictures! I even like the ads better! And who would have known you have 100 Pizza Huts in your area!! If this how Florida does things, I like it. I'm obviously reading the wrong paper, in addition to living in the wrong area. I think I could live there.

The restaurant must have good food with those kind of lines. I'm not into oysters but love seafood. I might prefer to go on a non Ron day though. LOL. I'm kind of into quiet while I eat. I can't imagine why the owners would stay in Denver when they could be there at this time of year. Denver was freezing this week!!

Good job! I can't wait for the next installment! You must have hundreds of restaurants and bars there!! You will be having non-stop fun!!

I'm betting their lines are even longer tonight! WTG! WOW! First column, byline, and front page of a substantial newspaper! emoticon
I love reading your articles and posts. Recently began receiving the SMITHSONIAN and the articles in it remind me a lot of your writing style. They're about the people behind the science; you'd be a good fit for them too. Keep 'em coming! emoticon
