Feb 6, 2014 Preparation and Test Results

Thursday, February 06, 2014

I got my test results.

EKG - Good
Labs - My AC1 is now 5.9 (out of diabetes range)
Chest XRay - Normal
Abdominal Ultrasound - Gull Stones (will most likely be removing my gall bladder)
Upper GI - Hiatal Hernia - Will repair during surgery
endo - Scheduled for 21st
Psych eval - completed - went well - don't know results
Nutrition Visit - Went well - I am doing awesome. Got home work....Practice plan and exercise 35-45 min daily for 6 days
Nutrition class scheduled for 26th.

My days of working on plan have been going mostly well. I do have a few days where I have something I shouldn't, but only because I know I can. I do it in total moderation and not all the time...I just want to give myself permission to do these and permission to not do them. I give my body permission to release my water and fat.

I am no longer on a diet. I am on a brand new way of eating / life style.

Nutritionist said she felt I would do this easily because I am already mostly doing it and have been for a very long time. The issue is I give up after a month or two because I see no results, then I go back to trying, and it just doesn't happen. It was explained to me by doctor, by her, and psychiatrist the reason why and the surgery will is just a tool, but she believes I will be extremely successful. I think I shocked them all bringing my blood sugars down to 5.9 out of diabetes range. first 2 points over holidays and vacation, then 3 more points in 3 weeks. WTG for me!
