Homemade Chili

Hello Sparkfamily! Is it chili time in your neck of the woods? By the way of the weather man, I reckon it is! Take a look!


Ingredients~

1 lb lean ground beef
32 oz tomato juice
1 1/2 cups dark red kidney beans
1/2 tsp sugar
1 4/5 cup pinto beans
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsps garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground oregano
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
1/4 cup green peppers, chopped
29 oz tomato puree

Directions~

Brown beef, drain and rinse.
Chop all ingredients and rinse.
Add all ingredients to a large pot, cook until boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Enjoy!
