I have been sick for months. For the most part, I haven't been super sick, just enough to take the edge off and remind me that I'm not 100%--day after day, week after week, and now month after month. I've had bouts of feeling better, of thinking that this season of sickness was finally over, but then it seems that as soon as I tell someone I'm feeling better, boom, I'm sick again!
Oh well. I'm not the only one. Others who live in my area have reported the same issues this year, it's just one of those things. This much I'll tell you: I'm not letting this pesky cold stop me from moving forward. My workout was challenging last night, but I did it, I finished, and I enjoyed it! Well, mostly. I started out with 30 minutes on the elliptical (didn't enjoy that, I was so tired), then I did a full-body strength circuit (I enjoyed that), and finally I did 30 minutes on the treadmill (by the end, I really enjoyed that).
Today I plan to be on the bike trainer. I'm scheduled to do a cadence workout that's pretty challenging, so I hope I have the energy to complete it as written. One way or the other, I'm going to show up and try!
