I have written many blogs about you are what you eat, never give up-which tells which disease are related to what foods, food basic helping with eating normal. our bodies are alkaline when you make it acidic thru sugars, acidic foods, non-nutrient foods, pop, preservatives, you set yourself up to kill organs, and diminish your oxygen supply. I just wonder sometimes when I give a shout out like this, how many will listen. many don't until they are almost at deaths door. But we always keep pushing cause that's who we are, we care, or have been there. Thanks this was a very good blog message.

I was posting this earlier today --- pretty much on the fly --- just minutes before I needed to head out the door for my Bible study discussion "fix", so I didn't share my reason for wanting to share the information.

I, too, gave up emoticon drinking many, many years ago. Back in the day of my choosing soda over water emoticon , if anyone had told me that I would one day find myself shuttering at the very thought of drinking that "liquid sugar", I would have though them to be quite daff. All I can think now is how blessed I feel to not be tempted to indulge in soda.

At present I am going sugar-free --- aiming to break my eighteen month record of being sugar-free. Once I have accomplished that, I will continue on to break my longest record of twenty-four months of being sugar-free. Hopefully, by that time, going without sugar will be such a habit that I never go back to indulging in sugary treats.

My goal, when sharing this information, was to put another piece to understanding the dangers of too much sugar intake out there. I sincerely hope that the information shared will strike a cord with those who are taking sugar into their bodies unaware of the danger possibilities beyond weight gain.

God bless!

I am not surprised at all.
Fortunately for me, I do not use sugar OR sugar substitutes, for my own self, nor do I drink any kind of beverages other than water. So I am pretty safe on this one.

I do have a small bag of sugar in the house, just in case I have to bake something for other people. That bag has been here several years now, as I would rather make savory rather than sweet, treats for family and friends

Thanks for the info!
god bless

Thank you for the information. I don't drink any soda at all but I know that there are hidden sugars in a lot we eat. We have to read the lables, etc.
