Thanks for the "get better soon" wishes they worked. I'm feeling pretty darn good today.
Woke up bright and early Saturday morning and took a very long walk. I had a plan of walking straight down the street next to my house to a certain traffic light. Well when I started out I changed that thought many times. When you're in the car the distance doesn't seem that far. Or is it I was feeling energetic/motivated when that idea came about?! Well as I walked I talked and strengthen myself with the word of God and I made it to that light and back home. Did I stop there? Nope. My honey is working on some projects around my house and well, I'm his assistant
so I found out. We made a trip to home depot that had me walking all over that darn store, for almost an hour. If you ever been to one you know it's like a warehouse... Needless to say I got in a great workout Saturday.
Sunday well I was tired, sore and achy but I got up early AGAIN!!! Went for another hour walk in the opposite direction. Didn't see any gators this time. The ducks were playing in the lake so I was feeling safe. This walk included a very tall bridge that seems endless when you're climbing it. I was good climbing it going home but...
Yesterday... I took the day off for 2 doctor appts. Both went well as far as I know. Got to wait on blood work and see what that shows. My doc told me he sees I lost 8#s since my last visit in August so....keep up the good work. I got up again before the first appt and walked for another hour. Before bed last night I did 2 - 20 sec planks, lifted some weights and stretched.
My eating this weekend wasn't great. I just ate whatever. Didn't concentrate on meal planning since I was so busy. I cooked all my meals at home though. NO fast food or take out. Well we did have subway twice but that's not really a bad fast food in my eyes.
Today I'm going back to walking my stairs. Drinking my water and trying to eat a bit better this week. I want to really focus more on my body pump and building muscle. I think that will make a greater difference in my body than anything else I've tried. I'm going to work on my meal planning as well. I got 2.5 months until my birthday and I at least want to lose 10#s by then. Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn body work with me here.
