For the month of February I’m changing up my “activity” program. Today I focused more on strength & flexibility over steps of the past. Now I need to find a new motivator, since with the “steps” I was able to earn a GLOW GETTER AWARD. For January I was 31 of 31 for the month in accomplishing 10,000+ steps each day. This small feat for some was a movement of mountains for me!
Now I need to find a new motivator to get me through the next 25 days of February. My new “monthly” goal is to accomplish 30+ activity minutes each day of February. I guess when all else fails I can always walk it, but truth is I want to add in strength & flexibility to my activity.
My plans to meet my February activity goals will be by doing SP videos for the strength & flexibility area, on M & F, with Yoga class on Wednesday. Then I’ll kick back into the steps for cardio on T-Th-Sa. On Sunday I will allow whatever happens but remain active for 30+ on this day as well.
So my main reason to blog today is to 1) get my goals down in writing, as it holds me more accountable. 2) Blogging allows me to see it, read, it and process what my plans are. 3) And hope to have some input from those out in SP-land on ways they stay motivated through the days to maintain and stay on an active path.
