From Brooks, the Ghost 6 is my running-shoes-to-be!
I went to the running store today to find the perfect shoe. I love them. I'm not picking them up until Thursday.
There is a 2 week exchange/refund policy and I want to test them out while out of town for a friend's wedding -aka someplace it isn't snowing!
and then I can exchange them after if they aren't a fab fit. but i think they will be iyh
Also, it will be nice to pick them up after achieving a goal.
Reward for sticking to my meal plan, making sure my meals take 20 minutes and for not weighing myself.
Still need to work on rating my hunger before and after meals- but let me tell you. after spending so much time mindfully eating- I realize how much I don't need to eat. And that I'm full on my dietitian's meal plan.
However, there are always treats that aren't about being fuel but are just yum. So still challenging.
Also a reminder to be kinder to myself.
Reading Geneen Roth's When Food is Love- which had some interesting insights. Highly recommend for an easy and thought provoking read.
