My last day in Cycle one was Friday. This weekend wasn't perfect in terms of staying on plan, but it was ok. I didn't overindulge. I had a few bites here and there that weren't allowed on plan, but that is life. I am not upset by it. I actually feel I did good this weekend. Saturday night the family went out to my favorite Mexican restaurant and I did good on the chips and ordered a grilled chicken salad. The dressing wasn't the healthiest, but overall, I was pleased with how I did. Sunday I had a cookie that my daughter made. Not good, but delicious! On a healthier note, I made some turkey meatballs and they weren't terrible. I was surprised because I don't like ground turkey. I have tried it on a couple of occasions using it to make turkey taco meat for a taco salad and each time I can't even eat it all. It ends up in the trash. I am so not into it. I thought I would try the meatball and they were ok. I used oats instead of bread, so that isn't on plan, but there is only 1/2 a cup of them spread out into the 40 meatballs that it made so I figure the carbs are minimal in them. Not perfectly on plan, but way healthier than I ate 3 weeks ago!
I am on day 3 of cycle 2. I don't think that I will weigh until cycle 2 is up. If I can make myself wait that long....We will see. I am already anxious to weigh after 3 days! Can I wait 14 more?
Cycle 1 Stats:
Starting weight: 187 (ouch!)
Ending weight: 177
Total loss: 10 pounds!
(I haven't measured inches so I don't know the loss there)
