Getting Back On Track!!

Monday, February 03, 2014

Today is February 3rd 2014 & I am doing my best to get back on track. I have gained 17 pounds since Dec 2012. I don't have any excuse for gaining this weight back, so now I have to get myself back on track & get this weight off.
I did walk at least 30 minuets a day for 3 to 4 days a week but I didn't eat right. I started walking on my treadmill for 45 minuets a day in January for 3 to 4 days a week but I still haven't been eating right. It seems I try to eat right but I eat a lot of snacks at night. I tell myself that I am not going to do this each day but I just can't seem to stop the late night snacking.
I know that I do a lot of the late night snacking out of habit. I have always ate snacks at nighttime but it has gotten a lot worse lately.
So please if you pray, please pray for me that I actually do quit most of the late night snacking & that I eat the right type of food so I can start slowly getting this weight off.
I know that when I do I will feel better physically & I will feel better about myself.
Thank you for listening & for your prayers.

    Hey friend!
Boy we are all in the same boat aren't we? But it's so good to be here getting the support we need. I will pray, I understand what it feels like to go to bed saying. "last time!". I have found that I absolutely need to have my largest meal in the middle of the day (not that long after breakfast honestly) I'm too hungry at night and too aware of "how good" I've been. Whatever, you are here and I am so happy! emoticon emoticon

I find that if I do not have the stuff then I am good. I also to try and get healthy snacks like different nuts and seeds ( unsalted roasted almonds, walnuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds raisins and cranberries). Also I stock up of fresh fruits.
I would put Fresh fruit on the counter and make it easy to reach. and If you are going to have a candy bar make it a high protein one. Make your own trail mix (o nuts and dried fruits and pack them in 1/4 cup serving ( I put in 1TBS of each of almonds, sunflower seeds/pumpkin seeds and either raisins or cranberries) in small containers and eat that when the craving hits. At work I always take fruit and yogurt.

Play around with different healthy stuff until you find what works.

My down fall is that I eat large portions of these healthy foods.

Hope this helps. emoticon emoticon emoticon
