Day 29 of 30 day challenge

Monday, February 03, 2014

One more day and the 30 day shred and whole30 challenge will be done! I plan to weigh and measure before I start the ripped in 30 workout on Wednesday so I will probably do a blog then about my results, what I thought about the workout, second experience with the paleo diet, and my first impressions on the new workout.

Today's workout went well. I know I said yesterday that I didn't do the jump lunges, but today I made myself do them until I couldn't and then just went back to the alternating lunges. I am all over the place when doing those LOL, but I figured this is the last couple workouts of this challenge. Got to push forward! I could do more than I thought, but I definitely need to practice those types of moves.

I have been a fitness inspiration junkie lately. Been glued to pinterest and instagram just soaking up workouts, food ideas, etc. This is good and bad because it gives me more ideas when I am already wanting to do so much. Super motivated to try new things, but at the same time I know I have to keep focus down to a few things and give them time to work. Consistency works, but at the same time I know that I have to change things from time to time to keep moving in the right direction.

Is there anything that you are wanting to try that you think others just might think is crazy? I've been thinking about lifting weights, not in a big-like-arnold but fitness model kind of way. Not that I want to be that, but who wouldn't want to be fit like that?! Thanks for reading!

Good for you for sticking with it and having fun. I tried indoor rock climbing which other people don't find crazy, but I sure did at first! LOL It was actually pretty fun!

My crazy thing is Crossfit. I have done it a couple of times but I have a secret dream to become certified as a trainer and run a Crossfit gym. Don't see how that would or could happen but would love it. So proud of you on getting through your whole challenge. Have you enjoyed the food part of things? Any new recipes you like? I love to strength training! Hope you find some new favorite things in this health journey.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to try new things, as long as you don't overdo yourself. As for others thinking I'm crazy, is just trying to be fit and lose weight. It's not that they think I can't or won't do it, I just think they don't see anything wrong with me how I am and that I might over do it. They've only known me the way that I am, overweight but solid. When I get down to my goal weight I will look completely different.

Do what you think is crazy and enjoy yourself!
