Day 31 - Reflections

Ok, so just when I think the process is not working I look back at previous weigh ins & see that YES the weight is moving the in the right direction. It may not be moving as quickly as I'd like but it is still on a losing trend. I am averaging probably around 0.5 to 1 lb per week in weight loss. And I am definitely ok with that. The little numbers add up after a few months. So overall, I have lost a total of 4 lbs since really focusing on this journey and putting in the work.

I was unable to run once this week due to my work load for this one class I am taking. Not to mention a pulled muscle in my lower back, then I dropped something really heavy on my big toe & then I tripped over my shower step. This week will be better on the fitness front. The better eating habits are just that....A HABIT now. I am enjoying real foods with a little treat here & there. I am not overindulging anymore. And I am happier for it.

Overall, January was a success and I will continue on with all that I am doing to improve my health in body, mind & soul.
