So Josh's team won the Superbowl, Go Seahawks!! Josh's mom is a huge Peyton fan so she was a bit disappointed but we were good sports about the Seattle win. Of course Josh's mom had a huge spread of food and though I knew there would be temptation and had it all planned out....I had the "just take a bite of XYZ" downfall. Now I recognize that I am much better behaved now than I was 3 months ago because then I would have had a full serving of everything but yesterday I just had a bite of all the temptations--- still logged every single bite but went over my calories, for the first time in like two months. :( HOWEVER, today as I left the house, I grabbed my tuna packet and my light and fit yogurt and headed out the door. I am so much better than I once was, nothing can derail me now!
I did stumble upon zero calorie margarita mix, made a few margaritas and only had to worry about the measured tequila drinking calories! I am so proud of myself, previously dark beer was my staple drink and we all know the calories that come with that.
My point is my new goal is to figure out a way to combat the "just have a bite" because I cannot have another superbowl day.
My birthday is in 15 days and I planned to weigh in at 275 (I have a goal day every 3 months with a # all the way out until October 2015). I will be disappointed if I don't make it but I think it is totally possible... that's not that much more than I need to work off by then. I plan to have a solid workout after my nephew's birthday party tonight and I plan to continue back on my merry little 1450 calorie way. :)
