Cirque de la Symphonie - Feb 2, 2014

Before the Super Bowl, we went to the symphony earlier this afternoon (Sunday, so it's Monday now, I'm not in bed because I only now found...ooops don't want to give it away yet...).
Anyway so it was the Cirque de la Symphonie back in Wichita (we didn't get to see them last time, in 2009.)... There were nine talented performers - acrobats and gymnasts and aerial flyers (silks, ropes, hoops), and a hoop dancer. (No lions, tigers or bears, oh my... sorry... wrong circus!).
So I was completely enthralled with the young lady Alina Sergeeva and her hula hoop performance. The main reason was because I LOVED the multicolored outfit she wore - those colors were calling my name (I'm not into the black, silver, red, winter white, because I'm a "spring", with the warmer yellow undertones.)!! But then she hopped into a stack of hoops that must have been at least 12-24 hoops, and wrapped them around herself as a giant multi-colored (coloured) Slinkie (R)(TM)(C) toy. It was fabulous! Or I'm easily thrilled.
This weekend, in addition to the usual Saturday and Sunday performances, a third performance was presented Friday for the kids in schools, and I am thrilled to find a YouTube video made by one of the local Public Television stations featuring Ms. Sergeeva and her wonderful outfit, chatting very knowledgeably with the interviewer and then a few clips from her performance. I kept thinking all through her performance "Oh boy, Shelly (MOSTMOM1) would JUST . LOVE . THIS !!"
Enjoy the Show!!
