And so starts a new life tomorrow.

Not exaggerating one bit here. This could really be what I've been working for all these years. I got a new job, a real one that I applied for doing the exact subject I want to do and nothing else. Four sections of Earth Science and 1 section of lab. Exactly what I wanted, I start tomorrow and I feel very positive about this. I went shopping for some new clothes for work on Saturday with my family. I plan to dress quite a bit dressier for this job than I have for my other jobs. When I interviewed they were looking for someone who was interested in taking over the Science department, putting a face on it, rebuilding it from the ground up and I believe I am the person for this job for the very, very long term. They want someone looking for a long term home to really become part of the school culture and community and I know that's going to be me. It's called Millennium Art Academy and it's in the building with the most perfect commute, 17 miles into a parking lot. I'm sure I'll be getting to work nice and early every morning and still do a good job keeping my afternoons my own. I have 91 days to prove myself to this school and keep a 100% attendance record, that is the key here. Wish me luck.

The house is ready for a real week. I have my Rodney Yee DVD here in my room I have a nice big spot for my yoga mat in my bedroom and it's hardwood. When I wake up and boot the computer I'll get my 20 minutes of Yoga done before I hop in the shower. I'm not thumping on the floor so I can do it at 5am and when I go to bed at night too. I went food shopping and stuck to the perimeter. With the exception of toilet paper I don't think I went down any of the actual isles, everything I bought was around the outside and that means healthier choices. No processed foods, nothing fake. Now to simply reduce my calorie intake. I started tracking better and I'll continue to do so.

Spent a lot of time today cleaning and relaxing. Not just a physical cleaning of my apartment but a mental cleaning. I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff as I go lately and it's been liberating. I just emptied and cleared out a drawer of craft stuff. So many bits of junk to get rid of and make room for the new and we wait for Spring to arrive.

Have a beautiful week everyone.
