February is off to a good start

My body is rebelling this morning, but I keep promising it I will let it rest tomorrow when I only go for a walk. Nothing else just a walk...yeah we will see how that really goes emoticon

Did some multi-tasking, its definitely a plus to staying at the hotel, I did laundry while getting my fitness minutes in. It helps when the laundry room is in a room off of the fitness center. 60 minutes of intervals on the TM, the first 26 minutes I actually ran both the walk and run intervals, and thought I was going to die! My "walk" interval was 4.8mph and my run was 5.5mph, no one said I was fast emoticon The last half I walked my intervals like I was supposed to at 4mph and used the same run speed as the first half. After I put my clothes in the dryer, I did upper body strength training, and my body wasn't happy about that one. Still a little tired from my swim the day before. Since I still had about 30 minutes left before my laundry was dry I decided to use the recumbent. Set the resistance to level 6, that was high enough to get my HR in the 70% zone and rode for 7.3 miles...not too bad for 30 minutes.

My eating wasn't the best, there were two hot dogs leftover from dinner the night before so I had to eat them...yeah that killed 600 calories, it's not the calories that bothers me it was the food itself. I had every intention of eating tuna wrapped in red lettuce for lunch. I tried to redeem myself at dinner. By baby wanted tacos, so tacos he got. Spent extra to get organic grass fed beef that was 90% lean, and whole grain corn taco shells. Here is how I redeemed myself, instead of tacos, I made myself taco salad. When I normally would have eaten 4 tacos, I broke up two shells and sprinkled then on top of the red leaf lettuce I was going to use for my tuna wraps, loaded it up with tomatoes, 1/4 c ground beef, 2 tbsp cheese and 2 tbsp. sour cream, lots of hot sauce and lime juice. It was so yummy and I was full.

Today is another run and my Spring into Shape Bootcamp video. Then after that, I am going to go get a haircut and my eyebrows waxed emoticon

    Wow, that was an impressive workout session , especially level 6 and 7 miles in 30 minutes! emoticon
