Life is getting normal

Sunday, February 02, 2014

Wow, you don't realize how much a move turns you upside down until its done. between holidays, packing, packing, and packing; then unpacking, unpacking and unpacking, this went a little nuts around here. We moved officially a couple of weeks ago, and it is just now home. We went through almost two weeks of mu son not sleeping well. We went trough the dog going a little bonkers. I went through enough to warrant full dosage on my bipolar meds. It was a little crazy. Yesterday, I sat on my butt all day. It was the first time I had done that since November. It killed my standings in our office FitBit challenge, and it felt amazing! Today, we changed out the garbage disposal. And it works! I know it sounds dumb, but this is home now. We are comfortable, and it works. I love our house. I actually enjoyed working on the disposal (except the hour we fought trying to get he old one off), and it was our project.
Tomorrow I am shopping and cooking like I used to. We are settling in and I love it! I had all sorts of stresses about what ifs until today. If I can pull out a 30 year old disposal and replace it correctly, I can have my house emoticon . Life is good.

Thanks everyone. Things are still busy obviously as I don't get the time on the computer I used to, but I do appreciate it!

I remember my last move. I swore the next move was going to be to my grave. Never again.
