Suet and seeds
Saturday, February 01, 2014
Before we even left for the grocery store yesterday, I refilled the suet cages on the birdhouse in my red maple tree in the front yard. The feeder in back is full of seeds and suet. tossed some wrinkled apples and some bread out for the bunnies and squirrels.
It began to snow last night, is still going full blast. One good thing that comes from being in a storm like this is I tend to clean and organize things that I procrastinate over otherwise.
I was up and at 'em this morning and did a couple loads of laundry while doing dishes and cutting up some pineapples I got yesterday at Kroger for $1! We love them!! I also organized some more things in my basement pantry and kitchen cabinets, vac to the bathroom floor to prep for steaming it later. Onward to paying Mom's bills, some of mine too.. sorted coupons, balanced two of the three checkbooks,..
I just looked out the window,, it appears that we have about another four inches of snow so far..
I may just sit down and watch a DVD or start one of the books I bought at the library sale last summer...
