I've decided the first of the month is measurement day. I've never really tracked my measurements before.
So, in January, I lost 1 inch off my waist and just slightly more than 1 inch off my hips!
Nothing off my upper arms or thighs, which is interesting. I carry most of my excess weight in my belly. I don't even have especially wide hips, just a belly that hangs low, inflating my hip measurement.
And I have always suspected that my belly is where I put on weight first if I'm gaining and where I take it off last if I'm losing.
I hope this means I've been wrong. I don't want to lose weight and get all humpty-dumpty-ish!
