Day 496: A New Day, A New Month

Ended last month on a bad note. I put on a pound for this weeks challenge, although I did everything better than the week before. I have no idea what is going on. But very upset with myself. I exercised more, I aimed for closer to lower end of calorie range and only had one really bad day on food and I was still within range. Not sure how to interpret that, and I highly doubt it is muscle. So it's making me depressed.

So I just need to start over this month. I'm going to try really hard to not dwell on it, but it's hard. Going to start February with a

This is February after all. A time to remember to keep our resolutions going, to keep our motivation high, and to never give up. Last month I got in over 1000 fitness minutes, and hoping to get over 1500 this month. Will continue to aim to keep within my calorie range preferably the lower end of it. February is a short month, and come middle of February I will start having a lot more going on to make it even tougher to get things done for me as well as the family. So need to schedule it if I have to. Each time something goes amiss, I reevaluate my commitment. But then I look at my calendar where I write all my workouts and realized I have only fully missed one day in the last 14 days and that was due to being sick.

Maybe it is just time to kick it up a notch. Maybe I need to add in stronger shorter workouts and less longer low impact ones. I don't know. But this month I have a plan.

I plan on picking myself back up, and striving for the best me. I have to battle the genes of my family on the losing weight front. We all gain weight after children, after starting out skinny. And it is near impossible to lose it very easily. I have always had a healthy water habit, and didn't eat out everyday. So I can only make that better. Time to kick the pounds in the butt and get rid of them. Let's make this February count. We need to :
