Although I woke up at 10:30 am this morning, my leg was a little swollen, so I took some aspirin and elevated it for a couple of hours. By 5:30, the swelling had gone down quite a bit, and because I knew the time was short to do my walk today, I decided that I could take it easy and walk at the same time.
5:30 pm-- Walkout #1: 1 minute and 35 seconds
10:30 pm -- Walkout #2: 1 minute and 17 seconds
Total time walked: 2 minutes, 52 seconds Steps today: 919
As I walked, I decided not to record my walkouts in accumulated times any more. I'll just note the times as they happen. It will be easier once my walkouts get longer. Plus, to anyone new that stumbles across this, it could be confusing.
I'm also working on a Nutritional direction. I will start it on Sunday. I will begin when I wake up, and it WILL include anything and everything I eat...even during my Super Bowl party. After all, if I'm going to jump, I might as well start at the highest point possible. So, chips, dips, homemade pizza bites, soda, "hot notwings" rhubarb cake, and all, if I eat it, I will note all the calories, carbs, proteins, fats, etc. Of course, since I'm not a scientist, it will all be approximate, and I will over estimate the values, of course. I decided to go ahead and have my Super Bowl party, because after all...I was born in Denver...
I'll try to have part of my food plan worked out by tomorrow.
