Here's a photo:
It's a trifle, with layers of fresh fruit, vanilla pudding, pound cake, and whipped cream.
I nibbled on the fruit while putting it together. I also had teaspoonful bites of each layer along the way. And I have tracked every bit of it.
That, in fact, was lunch.
Tonight at my dinner party, I will get to eat and enjoy all of my own cooking - in small portions.
This is the first time I am having a dinner party, making lots of high-calorie foods, and KNOWING that I will not go over my calorie limit for the day.
It's a new good feeling.
