My goal weight is 160lbs. At that point, I will have lost just over 100lbs. I've been working on this goal for a VERY long time, and I still haven't gotten it right.
If I had the opportunity to -poof!- be at my goal weight and be able to jump right into maintenance, I wouldn't take it. You know why? Because I would enjoy being 160lbs for a very short amount of time, and then I would start quickly packing on the pounds. I don't know HOW to be 160lbs yet, or I would ALREADY be 160lbs. At the moment, I know how to be 212lbs. I'd like to be further along, but at least I know more than I did when I only knew how to be 260lbs and growing.
