Cold is something that other people complain about....

Friday, January 31, 2014

I tend to be warmer than everyone else. I always have been (even when too thin pre-puberty). I'm unfazed by temps in the 20s (Fahrenheit) and am overly warm at about 75. I am one of the first people out swimming every year...even in Michigan where people start in the 70s.

I have had blood tests and have always come out perfectly normal. The one thing I was reading and could think of was the fact that I build muscle easily. Maybe my body type lends itself to being warmer?

I have to be sick or it has to be below 15F for me to feel really cold.

Thankfully DH enjoys it cooler too. Our apartment tends to be 65 this time of year and 70 (as warm as we can bear it inside) in the summer.

My DH enjoys cool weather too. As long as he can layer his clothes, he'll be out in weather down to zero...

Yes - I'm another cold temp lover.
I've had a great week this week because heat-loving hubby has been away, so I've been able to have a nice cool bedroom!

I'm always colder than everyone else. The normal body temp is 98.6, but mine is 96.8. Anything over that, my skin is on fire and you can tell that I'm running fever. I do better in the cold, but with Middle GAs temps being at 18F this week, which they're not use to, and it's been a while since I've been in those temps, so it was hard for me, to handle. I stayed inside, but for some reason, I still felt the cold. Now I did get out yesterday, when it was 25, which was more tolerable for me. If the temp would be from 50 to 70F, I would absolutely love it!

    Be blessed,

I don't run but exercise in general is so much better this time of year. I love my workouts in fall and winter. Spring starts getting humid and buggy (even though it's not hot here, I don't get it).

I don't mind the colder temps a matter of fact I love winter runs, as long as it's above zero I will run it :) I can run for hours and never overheat.
