Well, my weigh in resulted in three inches lost and a 1.5 loss in pounds. I finally went below my previous weigh ins. It probably would have been more successful if I did not have a big bing earlier, but I am okay with that. I have come to a realization that I have made progress when I look long term. A year ago I was approaching 50 and weighed 180 pounds. I have lost 23 pounds in a year which equals to about 1/2 pound a week. A very slow process, but I have to say that even when I have had slip ups, I have not gained anything back. So the Ideal Protein Diet, expensive as it is, is working.
My goal is to increase my weekly weight loss to at least one pound a week and to reach my goal this year. Then, I want to keep it off and not have it creep back up like all my other weight loss programs. I also want to create some type of hobby to keep my hands and my mind busy. I also want to start firming up once I hit my goal since I am not supposed to be too active on this diet, but I feel I need to burn calories since I hit my plateau.
Finally, remember to take time out for me and to be more patient with people. I hope I can do this.
