Another bad back day but I have been finally approved for my workmanís compensation. This is great news for me because now it isnít a battle and Iím covered for my medical care and therapies. I went to the doctor today and she didnít have much to say since she isnít my regular doctor. She did give me the paperwork from the physical therapist and that was helpful because it does show a huge difference from two weeks ago to a week ago. I was able to do a lot more and then there was barely anything. Drats!
I brought the stability ball to my one clientís home and it helped my back so much. I told him I needed it. It works out, Iím so happy I thought of that.
I did call the teacher today to give her an update on my back and asked her if she wanted me to have a sub for the day tomorrow or me on light duty, she said it would be best for an able body. I just didnít know how I would feel since sitting on those seats hurt my back and that Iím a limitation in the classroom. I said I could bring in a stability ball since Iím doing that for my other job but didnít know how she felt about it since it could set off our kids. She said, she didnít have any answers for me but hopes I feel better soon. It is a frustration and a bummer for me. I will not be going to work tomorrow.
Deep water class was very limited. I wasnít able to do much however I kept moving with the few movements that didnít cause me pain. At the end of it, I came out of the pool with my back feeling a little better.
I put on the Chinese medicine spray on my hips, buttocks, and back. It seems to be helping with a little bit of an icy hot feeling. Itís strong smelling, earthy and kind of Bengay smell. I am going to ask my acupuncturist for some more plus some other Chinese Medicines.
Plans for tomorrow:
Water classes [shallow, deep, and water walking],
Five things I'm grateful for:
1. Chinese Medicines.
2. Stability Balls.
4. L& I.
5. So many different choices and options.
