Getting on track

Did ok today - opted out of bread at our clinic lunch and went with self-made lettuce wraps with roast beef! Fewer calories and no carb slump! But I did go a bit overboard with the chips :/
Looking forward to Paleo. My dad made a great meal tonight - mom had fried up some eggplant so he used the leftover oil (tiny bit) to sautee onions, garlic, butternut squash, brocolli and black beans - it was smoky and rich tasting. YUM. They keep kosher at home so don't eat meat/chicken because it's too expensive to buy it kosher. They do eat fish. So we often eat vegetarian-type meals. YUMMY!
At my parents' house now, so going to sign off and enjoy our evening. Will catch up later.
