My biggest obstacle right now is this illness. My cold appears to have left the body but the sore throat came back. It is definitely sucking the energy out of me. I will however, continue to at the bare minimum get walks in. I'm hoping by Monday I will be completely better with a little extra rest.
My nutrition has been pretty darn good though. I have to keep something going at a fairly normal pace. Of course this weekend is my son's 10th birthday and the Superbowl. Both days will have challenges unto themselves. I will have to make sure I get exercise in before either of these festivities begin. Andrew's birthday isn't that big of a deal because we are having it here.
Wed. - skillet lasagna
Thurs and Sat - homemade minestrone soup with lots of veggies
Friday - Whole grain homemade waffles and maybe eggs with veggies
Sun - Superbowl party - I will do my best
Mon - Ribs (I'll try again. Hopefully they won't be bad before I cook them.)
Tues - chicken of some sort
