I craved potato chips..

..and instead I made this:

Fresh rutabaga, carrots, celery, cucumber, dip made with organic soy yogurt and green tea.

I've been tracking meticulously most days since my last post, and I know where to start making improvements now. I had a pretty good hunch about where the excess calories in my diet came from, still tracking revealed some surprises. Who knew I had 200+ calories many days in rye crackers alone? And with salami, mind you, doubling the numbers. I certainly wasn't aware.

So there it is, living and learning, trying to make better choices. And tonight this meant choosing fresh veggies over potato chips.

Not bad, if I may say so myself!
