How can I "meet" my calorie goals but go "over" in carbs, fat AND protein???

Seriously, my nutrition report is messing with my head today!

    Great advice jenmccl!
The trick is in the foods you select
Do you have any health needs that should guide those choices?

I watch MOSTLY carbs, protein ( energy and balance diabetes) and calories..
Have changed food oh ices so fat is always low.

I have to be honest..... I have never tried to eat the required/suggested amts. to meet the goals that are shown on my Daily Nutrition page. Okay, let's say this a better way..... I have never sat down to calculate all the foods I eat and how to consume them on a daily basis to meet the required/suggested Goals. Even though I have read blog after blog after blog how other Sparkers have lost weight & benefited from doing all those calculations. "Why not"? You might be asking yourself. Because...... I'm toooo lazy to do it. There ! I admitted it !! Whew!!!
Knowing myself as well as I do, the odds of me ever doing it?...won't happen.
The one thing that keeps me in my holding pattern is all the coffee creamer I consume everyday. Oh, how I wish I never became a coffee drinker. :-/

I watch the proteins 1st then fats and carbs. For me the calories always fall in lline.
I run the nutrition report sometimes 5 - times a day to make certain I stay within the limits I have set for myself.
If they don;t, I adjust my food plan for the day.
It's worth the extra time because I'M LOSING WEIGHT! emoticon

I actually use cinnamon pills to help with the carb cravings so I don't desire them as much

It depends on the foods you are eating. I eat natural foods and try really hard to stay away from boxed or canned goods unless done by myself (preserving). And I'm having a really hard time even to get enough of everything.

If you eat a lot of breads and grains or starchy foods, those are high in carbs. Read your labels. I am taking a vitamin because I am not eating enough of the foods that have the vitamins & minerals.

Question. Do you feel good? Has your physician said you are too high or too low? Sometimes, your body requires more than what you give it and sometimes less.

Keep up the wonderful work you are doing and see your physician.
