a sunny day

Thursday, January 30, 2014

enjoying a much needed break between classes just now. it is wacky hair day at my daughter's school today. she really enjoys those kinds of days at school. i will definitely be meeting up with my good friend this weekend. so i am making sure that i have all of my homework done before i go, so i can relax and enjoy the whole weekend. i spent some time with my daughter yesterday, on one of my off days from school. i do this as much as i can. we keep in touch constantly when we cannot be together. i want to hear from her, no matter whether or not others think it is important for me to hear. i want her to feel comfortable talking to or to tell me about whatever is happening in her life. no matter how mundane it may seem to others around her. it is important to me to hear what she has to say. she is soo important to me. i love her very much. school is going well so far and so is the counselling i am doing, too. my birds say hello, hello! i am not in a rush about the part time job. if i get it, i get it. if not, i am not concerned about it. have a great day, everyone!

You sound like a great mom. I want to do that for my kids, too. Kids definitely need a listening ear as they navigate growing up. Wishing you a great day, too!
