Wednesday...surprise day in!

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

The snow was worse than was expected...4- 7 inches doesn't sound like much but here in South Jersey, the snow/ice removal has been pretty spotty this winter season at best!

The college had a delay and my boss agreed that coming in for 75 minutes didn't make a lot of sense. So I made my day a quiet one, rescheduling everything, bloodwork, pedicure, and chiropractor appointment. Since my Zumba instructor was snowed in, it was unnecessary to venture further than walking the dog. That, sweeping snow, and walking two miles with Leslie was my activity for the day.

Baked cookies, had a leisurely shower...aahh,,,

As my saying of the day goes, “Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” ~Lao Tzu change

What wonderful thought! Have a lovely sleep! emoticon

Our town has totally exhausted its snow budget for the year...We had another snow day on WEds. too... apparently they have one planned for next Weds. already too, supposed to be coming up from TN...

I did some research and called the library and got some books on order... really finding some interesting stuff...you know what they say though, "Too many books, too little time."

Who is your zumba instructor these days? I went to class on Monday--I don't know who the instructor was, but the routine was a little weird, lots of gyrations. However, I still felt that it was a decent workout--just not as good as Amy's.

Have a good weekend!

Glad you got to stay in for most of the day. Sounds like a good one.

Hi there your day sounds a bit like mine. I have made another chili and DH and I like it. We have had very few snow storms this year. They come over you and out over NS and NB.
We are in the arctic winds but we can see our grass in many places. HUGS I need my bed Pat in Maine.

I'm in the Philly suburbs and we were supposed to get a "dusting". Either the definition of "dusting" has changed, or the weathermen are "sugarcoating" the forecast :)

Snow removal has been much more competent than weather forecasting.

Enjoy the snow days!
