Challenge Myself and Embrace Each Day

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Saw this picture on FaceBook and wondered if I could post it here. Then I saw that it originated on SparkPeople, so I guess I can. Small world. It really speaks to me. Powerful.

One other picture on my FB home page grabbed my attention: a picture of my granddaughter, Natalie. It hit me. She really is growing up. Time flies. You can't grab time and hold on, but just embrace each day, each moment.

Life is fleeting. Life is sacred. May I never wish away a moment again! It's one of those lessons I seem to have to grasp over and over. Live life fully. Challenge myself. Compete with my old self. As ONEKIDSMOM reminds me daily, Life is Good!! We are worth living fit and living healthy.

What a great inspirational picture and your granddaughter IS growing up. Scary, isn't it? They just don't slow down because we want them to, do they?
Have a GREAT evening and Friday, Marsha! emoticon

Watching children grow always humbles me because they grow so fast. Time goes by so quickly that we have to grab for all the gusto we can, in order to enjoy it. To me this means that worrying about the past eats up valuable time that I can spend savoring the present. Thanks for the reminder!

    Great poster...thanks for sharing.
And your granddaughter gets prettier and prettier. And yes they grow up fast. I can't wait to go North again to be with our grands. We leave at the end of March, early April timeframe.
Have a great day

I love "the old me is going down" poster. I can see how that would spark your training.

When did Natalie get so grown-up? Wasn't she just a baby last time we turned around? Spark on... and savor!
