Walk in.....feeling good!

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Got a quick 13 minute walk in for 0.48 miles. It has warmed up to 15 degrees Farenheit as of this time but wind chill is still below zero. So my walk was brisk, my nose has icicles (just kidding) and I got some much needed Vit. D from the sunshine. I SO NEEDED THIS! Just to get out of the house and feel the sun on my face was wonderful. I took Sir Dickens with me and had him dressed in his red and white herringbone sweater so he was looking dapper. He hates the cold though and it hurts his little feet in a short amount of time so I picked him up and tucked him in my coat by the time we hit the end of our block so I toted a few extra pounds with me for added cardiac benefit and he got to stay toasty warm and enjoy the view. Bonus deal for us both! emoticon emoticon

Hooray for getting out for a walk!! It really does help to boost the mood. Glad you took your pup too but also glad you picked him up when his feet got cold. Mine are too big for that but I only walk the hardy one. The Weimaraner has so little hair.

I love taking walks... but I can't bring myself to do it in weather like this.

emoticon for you braving the cold and getting some fresh air! As for me, it needs to warm up a good 45 degrees before I'll ditch the treadmill and go outside.

YEA on the exercise and sunlight. I have gotten a walk today and vitamin D too. So good to get outside for a change.
