The other day I wrote about my concern that I wouldn't be able to do the additional interval in Week 5 of the Rookie 5K program. Today was the day I had the first session planned. It snowed and the road was icy so I decided I'd do it in the house.
I made it through all 6 intervals of 2 minutes walking and 3 minutes running. Luckily the way the downstairs rooms are set up, I can do circles of running and walking. I didn't run full out, but my goal was to make it through all the intervals not set any speed records and my speed was about the same as I do on the road.
It's easier inside. No inclines or hills so I don't work as hard. It will be interesting to see how it goes on Friday when I do the next session on the road.
