Grateful for all you Sparkies!

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Although I haven't been on a scale in 2 weeks (skipped last week's weigh-in because I had book club the night before - ugh!), I can tell that I've gained a couple (buncha?) pounds. It's been a long time since my pants have felt snug and I'm not happy about that...

So this is the time that I need SparkPeople the most. When I'm cruising along that easy maintenance highway, I may glance at the daily articles that show up in my e-mail and think to myself "yeah, I know all that" and hit the delete button. But, sure enough, as soon as I hit a speedbump like a coupla extra pounds, I'm reading those babies word-for-word, reminding myself what I'm going to have to do to get back on track. It's like a life-line, it's there when I need it and I am feeling very grateful for that today. Reading my e-mails, catching up on the message boards, reading my SparkFriends blogs, they are all invaluable tools to help me out when the ride gets bumpy.

So Thank You, all of you, for having my back!

After the surgery you're going to be on an automatic diet, so those pounds gained will likely fall off quickly. You'll be just fine.
